IT-ERP Specialist in Saudi Arabia – ERP Systems Expert

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced IT-ERP Specialist, also known as an ERP Systems Specialist or ERP Implementation Specialist, to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on the administration, support, and optimization of SAP B1 and Oracle EBS R12 ERP applications. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in ERP lifecycle management, from installation and configuration to troubleshooting and end-user training.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, administer, and troubleshoot SAP B1 (version 10 for HANA on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP2) and Oracle EBS R12 (on Oracle Linux OS with HRMS modules).
• Manage SAP B1 functions including license and user administration, general settings, authorization, document printing, and layout design.
• Generate SQL queries, SBO Trans Notifications, DTW, UDF, UDT, UDO, FMS, PLD, and Crystal reports.
• Administer HANA Studio, SLD, Control Centre, Extension Manager, and perform housekeeping activities such as high availability, failover, and takeover between primary and secondary servers.
• Handle export/import of schemas, system backups, and instance backups via HANA Studio and Control Centre.
• Start and stop SAP B1 services using HANA Studio and terminal commands (Putty).
• Configure basic network settings, switches, rack server hardware, RAID, and SAN storage.
• Provide first-level support and training to end-users on SAP B1, and coordinate complex issue resolution with overseas ERP support teams.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAP B1 version 10 for HANA and Oracle EBS R12, including installation and administration.
• Functional knowledge of SAP B1 modules: Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and other SCM modules.
• Proficiency in HANA Studio, Crystal Reports, and SQL query generation.
• Experience with system initialization, backup, and high-availability concepts.
• Basic network and hardware knowledge (switches, RAID, SAN).
• Strong communication skills for end-user training and cross-team collaboration.
• Ability to support new project implementations both onsite and offshore.
